Same Day Crowns

A crown is a cap that goes on top of a tooth to cover, protect and strengthen it. This is needed when Dr. Brodersen finds cavities, cracks, defective fillings or when you are not pleased with the cosmetic portion of a tooth. At Broadway Dental Care, we put the care in our name by wanting to ensure every patient is happy with their smile, no matter the severity.

With the process of technology and Dr. Brodersen’s extensive training, we now offer same day crowns. This means that you can avoid the trouble of having to wait up to 2 weeks or more for your crown, and instead get it the very same day! The Process

Once Dr. Brodersen has determined that you are in need of a crown, our team will begin the process to get you everything you need in just a single office visit!

The first step of the process is to scan your teeth using our advanced 3D imaging camera called iTero in order to get the perfect impression for your tooth. No more worrying about the gooey, uncomfortable impressions, everything is done digitally! Not only is this easier for you, it also provides a more accurate crown that will fit your smile and shine!

Once the scans are finished and your tooth is prepped for the crown, we will begin the creation process to get your smile good as new! We use special design software so the new tooth is designed to the tooth’s appropriate form and function! Then our special mill from Glidewell carves porcelain material into the crown you need. This process usually only takes an hour, and once finished, we see you right after it’s done!

After finishing milling the crown, we will seat it on your prepped tooth, cement it in, and you are all done! No need to come back or wait weeks for your tooth, nor do you have to worry about the temporary crown. Our team is excited to be able to provide this convenient service, and we hope that you are too!

GLIDEWELL

Glidewell is the technology we use to prevent you from having to come to the dentist more than you have to. It helps us create the crowns in the same day that you need one. It keeps your teeth strong while also providing a cosmetically pleasing look to your teeth as well.

The restoration creates a high-grade ceramic material that matches with your body’s natural tissues, avoiding any issues. We mill our crowns in house using Glidewell, letting us give you a beautiful and strong smile all in one visit!
